About this event
Your vote MATTERS! Learn about candidates for Jackson County Legislature - who enact all county ordinances, subject to approval or veto by county executive, and appoint the County Clerk and County Auditor. Each person in Jackson County lives in two legislative districts. The County is divided into six legislative districts represented by six Legislators. In addition, each district is part of one of three at-large districts represented by an at-large Legislator. This makes for a total of nine Legislators. Every voter in Jackson County votes for four County Legislators - their district legislator and the three at-large seats. Serve a 4 year term.
