Short Description: Upon voter approval, if under current law, income tax rate falls below 1.4%, state income tax will be eliminated by 2031, and sales tax may be increased/expanded to make up for the income deficit.

Short Description: Missouri ratepayers could start paying now for a future nuclear or other clean baseload plant years before it produces electricity. The combined version includes stronger refund protections if the project fails.
Status of the Bill: Placed on the calendar for House Bills for Third Reading for Tuesday, April 7.
