A Note from the Editor

Get Out OUR Vote

The League has grown by leaps and bounds, now counting over 300 members on our rolls. We're so excited for what the future holds for our League!

However, this means we need more of you than ever to show up so we can achieve QUORUM! In order for the League to take action at its annual meeting, we must have a quorum of members present. In years past, this was not difficult because the usual crowd was big enough for quorum. Since we've grown so much, we need over 50 members in attendance this year in order to vote on our program and new leadership.

Please help us “Get Out OUR Vote” for our own organization! Be there in person or online, but be there no matter what.

President's Letter to the Membership

2025 Annual Meeting

I dream of a day when our organization is not needed, when all members of our society value the right to vote as much as we do. A world where truth is honored, honor is valued, and the members of our society strive to provide the best for one another no matter what color, religion, creed, or identity. A world where civics is taught from the first step a kindergartner takes into the classroom to the final words of their graduation speech. Where civic participation begins in school and ends with a last breath.

Until that day, we must continue to work together to Empower Voters and Defend Democracy. The need for our work has never been greater.

It has been my honor to work with this incredible, passionate group of people. Thank you.
