Women's Equality Day: They Fought the Good Fight: The 1965 Voting Rights Act

A lecture on the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by civil rights historian Dr. Emilye Crosby of SUNY Geneseo.  She will focus on the rank and file activists who fought for the passage of this historic legislation, especially women who have been overlooked in other accounts.
